Waves is a custom blend of 50% Mulberry Silk, 30% Merino 18.5, and 20% Firestar. Even with the metallic content, it’s surprisingly soft. 247 yards, 2.5 ounces, sport weight.
This yarn is worsted-spun, which means it’s smooth and strong. Weavers can use it for warp as well as weft. Sett is 8/10/12. Knitters will find it gives great stitch definition.
